1. Rest. Because you want to and because you have to. Your parents may tell you to work immediately, but don’t feel compelled to do as they say. Take your time and take it wisely. The years ahead of you will be long and stressful, and it’s just right that you enjoy at least a month without worries. This is your time now. You’re free to do whatever it s that you desire.
2. Believe. Because you want to and because you have to. People will tell you that you’re not good enough, and you will lose your faith in yourself. That’s just normal. But at the end of the day, just believe. That everything will be okay. That everything will fall perfectly into its place. Just believe.
3. Wait. Because you want to and because you have to. Because the right time isn’t always now and the right time isn’t always soon. You will see other people get to their goals faster than you do, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get there. You will. Just wait and continue pushing for it. Your time will come. It will.
4. Pray. Because you want to and because you have to. Times like these are rough. You’re somewhere in between knowing what it is that you want to do with your life and figuring out what else it is that you can still do. You cannot do this alone. Nobody can. You need someone you can lean on, someone who will answer. And though the answer may not always be yes, but it will always be for what’s best.
5. Strive. Because you want to and because you have to. You’ll never get to your goals just because of prayers. Or just because you waited and believed. Like what they say, life is a constant battle for survival. So you have to fight for it, fight for it real hard. Hold on to what’s truly important and never let it go. One day, someday, through hardwork and perseverance, you’ll finally be able to say you made it. And when that time comes, you will look back and be thankful. Because by then you will see that life has been good to you. It always has been. And it always will be.
